Happy New Year Troop 11

I hope all of you have enjoyed your vacation and had enjoyable holidays. Now it’s on to the New Year and another fun-filled year with our Troop.
We need all who plan to attend Colin’s Eagle Court of Honor next Saturday to RSVP as soon as possible. We want an accurate count by Wed. so we can plan the proper amount of meals ( a late lunch will be served). Thank you for your cooperation.
Please continue to sell Pancake Breakfast tickets. We will have sign-ups at the next few Troop meetings for sales at Church and at the grocery stores. Hopefully we have all the details worked out with the Church and there will be no last minute surprises.
This Wednesday will be trip planning for the Anza Borrego backpacking trip January 15-16. We will also begin reviewing skills for Pop Nye in the near future so have your scouts start practicing. For those who are writing dates on their new calendars Lincoln Pilgrimage is Sat. Feb. 5, Pancake Breakfast is Sunday, Feb. 6., the canoe trip is Feb. 19-21, and Joshua Tree (now a family outing) will be March 4-6, and Pop Nye will be Sat., April 16th.
We also need everyone to be thinking about summer camp as we will need to make a deposit soon. The program and site look great so contact Mr Hall if you need more details.
